A journey to present milk to 16,000 children starts
The Rising Milk Fund Vietnam 2012 started a journey, to give milk to 16,000 needy and disabled children throughout the country, in Ly Son Island District, Quang Ngai Province on January 4th. Especially, in its first destination on Ly Son Island, 8,000 glasses of milk were presented to children.

As Ly Son people still encounter difficulties and 26% of children are malnourished, Vinamilk and the Fund selected Ly Son as their first destination to help them develop more their bodies and intelligence.

Mai Kieu Lien, Chairwoman of Vinamilk’s Board and CEO, said that after four years together with the Fund and with various journeys to give milk to poor children in numerous provinces and cities across the country, Vinamilk was delighted to see milk taken by those really in need.
